平山湖大峡谷

For visitors planning a Zhangye itinerary, Pingshanhu Grand Canyon works well as a half or full day trip, paired with or used as an alternative to the more famous Seven-Color Danxia, particularly for those who want a more hands-on canyon experience in addition to the painted hills. Its relative novelty on the standard northwest China loop means crowds are often thinner than at Zhangye's headline sites.
