Zhao Yun Temple is a memorial complex in the old town of Zhengding, just north of Shijiazhuang, dedicated to one of the most beloved generals of the Three Kingdoms period. Zhao Yun, courtesy name Zilong, was a native of Changshan Zhengding, the historical name of this county, and his reputation for courage, loyalty, and personal integrity has made him a folk hero across the Chinese-speaking world for nearly two thousand years.
