Giới thiệu về Bảo tàng Châu tự trị Kazakh Y Lê
The Ili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture Museum, located in Yining, is the principal regional museum for the upper Ili River Valley. Its permanent galleries trace the long, layered history of this northwestern frontier, from prehistoric petroglyphs and Silk Road artifacts to the nomadic cultures of the steppe and the multi-ethnic communities that define modern Yining.
Core exhibits include archaeological finds from ancient burial mounds scattered across the river valley, which document successive waves of steppe peoples including the Wusun, Turkic khaganates, and later Mongol and Kazak polities. Displays of felt tents, embroidered saddlecloths, silver belt ornaments, and traditional musical instruments illustrate the material culture of the Kazak herders whose name the prefecture carries, while separate sections cover Uyghur, Xibe, Hui, and Russian-settler heritage.
A highlight for many visitors is the collection of silk textiles, lacquerware, and coins recovered along the northern spur of the Silk Road, which passed through the Ili basin and linked the oases of the Tarim to the grasslands of Central Asia. These objects underline how Yining sat at a crossroads of trade, religion, and craftsmanship for more than two millennia.
The museum is a useful first stop for travelers planning to explore wider Ili attractions such as the Kazanqi Folk Tourism Area, the Ili River corridor, or the grasslands at Nalati. English-language labeling can be limited, so international visitors often arrange a local guide or read ahead. Allow roughly two hours for a thorough visit, and check seasonal opening hours in advance, as the museum occasionally closes for rotating exhibitions.
Di sản văn hóa
The Ili Kazakh Autonomous Prefecture Museum is a comprehensive museum of the Ili valley's history and ethnic cultures, holding archaeological finds from before the Qin and modern folk collections alike. Grassland stone figures, rock carvings and bronzes tell of the Saka, Yuezhi, Wusun and Turkic peoples who rose and fell in the western Tianshan; the Qing-era migration of the Xibe to garrison the frontier and the shared history of Ili's peoples are set out here in full, a window onto the "beyond-the-Great Wall Jiangnan" of Ili.
Tham quan: In the galleries one meets the thousand-year-old grassland stone figures, ponders the hunting scenes of the rock carvings, and learns of the ancient Wusun kingdom and the Han princesses Xijun and Jieyou who wed into Ili; the bows and saddles of the Xibe migration, Kazakh embroidery and Uyghur instruments unfold Ili's many cultures object by object, the spiritual gateway to the city.
