Musée de la préfecture autonome kazakhe d'Ili

The Ili Kazak Autonomous Prefecture Museum, located in Yining, is the principal regional museum for the upper Ili River Valley. Its permanent galleries trace the long, layered history of this northwestern frontier, from prehistoric petroglyphs and Silk Road artifacts to the nomadic cultures of the steppe and the multi-ethnic communities that define modern Yining.
