The narrative draws on episodes from Chinese mythology and imperial history, dramatized through large ensemble choreography, equestrian sequences, water and light effects, and theatrical set pieces. The production values are comparable to other major regional spectacles in Xi'an, Luoyang, and Hangzhou, and the integration of the quarry landscape into the staging is genuinely distinctive within the Chinese live-show scene.

For foreign travelers, "Shenyou Legend" is best approached as a complete evening experience, paired with an afternoon visit to the broader Huaxia resort and dinner at one of the on-site restaurants.
