遼寧省博物館について
The Liaoning Provincial Museum is the largest comprehensive museum in northeast China and one of the country's oldest provincial museums. Its purpose-built home in the southern suburbs of Shenyang holds a collection of more than one hundred and ten thousand artifacts spanning the deep prehistory of the Liao River basin through to the high Qing court.
The museum is best known for its Chinese antiquities. Permanent strengths include Ming and Qing jade and porcelain, ancient Chinese epitaphs and stele rubbings, and the museum's extensive holdings of calligraphy and painting by celebrated historical masters. The ground-floor galleries also host a regular rotation of temporary exhibitions, with recent cycles showcasing European glass art, Liaoning folk embroidery, and curated loan shows of named artists.
As a provincial institution, the museum is unusual in the depth of its coverage of regional cultures that shaped what is now Liaoning — Koguryeo archaeological finds, Khitan Liao-dynasty materials, Jurchen Jin relics, and Manchu Qing imperial objects all feature in the rotations. New galleries continue to open in phases as the museum works through its long-term exhibition plan, so the rooms accessible on any given visit are only a partial view of the full holdings.
Visitor facilities are in line with other major Chinese provincial museums: spacious galleries, bilingual labelling on most key objects, a well-stocked museum shop, and a reading room for visiting researchers. Allow a half-day for a meaningful visit; pair it with the Shenyang Museum in the city centre for a fuller picture of regional history.
For foreign visitors interested in understanding the long arc of northeast Chinese civilisation beyond the Qing palaces, the Liaoning Provincial Museum is the single best stop in Shenyang.
文化遺産
Tracing to 1933 and established in 1949, the Liaoning Provincial Museum was New China's first. Its nearly 120,000 objects span archaeology, calligraphy, painting, silk embroidery, bronze and ceramics across seventeen categories, including national-treasure works attributed to Zhou Fang, Zhang Xu and Emperor Huizong, making it a stronghold of classical Chinese painting and calligraphy; its Liao-dynasty ceramics are regarded as the finest extant. It moved to a new hall in the Hunnan district in 2015.
見学案内: The Ancient Liaoning galleries trace history from prehistory to the Qing, while the Liao ceramics hall shows cockscomb ewers and chicken-leg jars unique to the frontier; the painting-and-calligraphy galleries rotate masterworks, making this an ideal place to grasp Liao River civilization and classical art.
