For foreign visitors, the most rewarding way to experience the Ten-Mile Gallery is by bicycle or electric scooter, both of which can be rented easily in Yangshuo town. A full exploration can take anywhere from a couple of hours to most of a day, depending on how many stops are made at the branching attractions along the way. The route is well-suited to travelers who want an active, flexible day in the Yangshuo countryside and who enjoy the freedom to pause wherever the scenery invites a closer look. The gallery pairs naturally with a visit to Moon Hill, the Yulong River, or any of the other rural sights scattered across this section of Yangshuo county, and it is best undertaken in the cooler hours of the morning or late afternoon, particularly during the hot summer months when midday cycling becomes uncomfortable.
