磁器口古鎮について
Ciqikou Ancient Town is a historic river port on the Jialing River, just a short metro ride from central Chongqing, and one of the city's most visited cultural attractions. Founded during the Song dynasty and reaching its peak as a bustling porcelain-trading wharf under the Ming and Qing, the town preserves a dense tangle of flagstone streets, wooden shop-houses, and stepped lanes climbing the hillside — a rare surviving pocket of "old Chongqing" inside the modern metropolis.
The atmosphere is part living museum, part working commercial district. The main street is lined with craft shops selling porcelain (the town's name literally means "Porcelain Port"), fermented chili pastes, hand-pulled malt candy, tea houses, and stalls heaped with the local specialty maocai — a spicy Sichuan-style skewer stew that is a must-try for first-time visitors. Side alleys lead to quieter courtyards, small Buddhist and folk shrines, and tea houses where older residents play mahjong and listen to Sichuan opera on weekend afternoons.
Ciqikou is also closely linked to Chongqing's distinctive food heritage. Chongqing hot pot, Xiao Mian noodles, and the city's famously numbing-and-spicy snacks are all on offer in their most authentic form here. The tradition of lingering in a tea house with a cup of jasmine or green tea, a snack of peanuts, and an unhurried afternoon has its roots in exactly this kind of riverside market town, and the tea houses of Ciqikou remain some of the best places in the city to experience it.
The town can get extremely crowded, especially on weekends and holidays, so visiting early in the morning or in the evening yields a much more rewarding experience. Pairing a walk through Ciqikou with the nearby Chongqing 1949 theatrical performance or a stroll along the Jialing riverfront makes for a rich, easy day out. Souvenir quality varies, so the most worthwhile purchases tend to be food items and crafts actually being made on the premises.

Ciqikou old town lies in Shapingba district of Chongqing, east on the Jialing River, a water-and-land wharf town that began in the Song and flourished in the Ming and Qing, named Ciqikou for its past production and transshipment of porcelain. Once a major trading hub of the lower Jialing, busy with boats and merchants, it was nicknamed Little Chongqing. The town preserves many Ming-Qing lanes and courtyards, with flagstone paths, stilt houses, old teahouses, and guild halls and temples scattered among them, its street life still vivid, a concentrated expression of Chongqing's old-town culture and wharf memory.
見学案内: Stepping into Ciqikou, the flagstones underfoot are polished smooth by time, old shops lining both sides, the oily fragrance of mahua, the clink of covered tea bowls in the teahouses, and the sizzle of Chen-style twists frying weaving into a street symphony. You might find a riverside teahouse to hear a passage of Sichuan opera or qingyin storytelling and watch the Jialing drift eastward, or wander the winding deep lanes, touching among the stilt houses and old walls the warmth of old Chongqing's wharf years.
