Yongqing Fang, along Enning Road in Guangzhou's Liwan, is a historic quarter of the old Xiguan town. It preserves rows of arcaded 'qilou' shophouses and traditional Xiguan dwellings, whose lanes retain the texture of old Canton; after renewal it has become a place where heritage streetscape meets contemporary life.

Visiting: Visitors can wander the arcaded lanes, admire Xiguan details like stained-glass 'Manchu windows' and sliding wooden gates, and soak up the atmosphere of old Guangzhou blended with new life.
