Pinxiangzhai
Đợt 1Pinxiangzhai is a century-old Nanchang pastry house, its name long established in the Xihu district, making its name with Chinese tea snacks such as egg-yolk fried dough twists, egg-yolk pastries, walnut cookies and peanut crisps—golden, fragrant and melt-in-the-mouth—the emblem of the city's tea-sweet culture. It passed the 2023 Ministry of Commerce review with conditions attached.
Pinxiangzhai's walnut cookies and fried twists have been the tea-snack gifts of festivals and family visits for generations of Nanchang people, carrying the sweet memory of the city's street life and long recognised as a landmark name in local pastry.
Its pastries prize layered shortening and even heat—the walnut cookies famed for melting on the tongue, the twists demanding just the right balance of egg and shortening and a golden fry—keeping alive the old handcraft of Chinese pastry making.
