Giới thiệu về Khu phố lịch sử văn hóa Hội Long Oa thành phố Từ Châu

The Huilongwo Historic Block is a restored heritage district in the heart of central Xuzhou, a short walk from the Hubushan old quarter and the eastern shore of Yunlong Lake. Built around surviving traditional courtyards and narrow lanes, it has been redeveloped in recent years as a pedestrian-friendly zone of cafes, bars, snack stalls, and small boutiques, and for evening visitors to the city it has quickly become the most popular place in Xuzhou to wander, eat, and drink.

The block's layout preserves the older street pattern of this part of the city, with grey-brick courtyard houses, carved wooden lintels, and lanes that wind between them in an irregular grid. Most of the buildings are restored or reconstructed in late-Qing and early-republican style, and although the commercial layer is unmistakable, the atmosphere is more cohesive than many newly built "ancient towns" elsewhere in China, in part because the underlying street fabric is genuinely old.

By day, the block is a relaxed place for a slow coffee, a casual lunch, and some light shopping, with stores selling handicrafts, tea, local snacks, and Xuzhou-themed souvenirs. By night, it transforms into the liveliest stretch of the city center, with lanterns lit along the lanes, live music in some of the bars, and food stalls serving regional specialties such as pork belly stews, grilled skewers, and the local take on fried noodles. Weekend evenings draw the biggest crowds, including many younger Xuzhou residents out for the night.

A visit fits easily into a walking itinerary of central Xuzhou. It can be paired with the Hubushan historic quarter and Xima Tai in a single afternoon, or used as the evening finale to a day spent at the Han Culture Scenic Area or Yunlong Lake. The block is fully pedestrianized, making it easy to navigate with children, and most of the cafes and restaurants accept mobile payment apps common across China.

For international travelers, Huilongwo is the easiest place in Xuzhou to experience the city's contemporary leisure culture. It is not a heritage site in the strict sense, and visitors looking for fully authentic old architecture should head to Hubushan next door. But for an evening stroll, a relaxed dinner, and a taste of how local Xuzhou residents spend their free time, the block offers the most enjoyable introduction to the city's modern side.
