Giới thiệu về Con đường tản bộ hương hoa xương đá Vũ Di Sơn
The Rock-Bone and Flower-Fragrance Slow Trail is one of the most rewarding walking paths within the Mount Wuyi UNESCO World Heritage Site in Fujian province, threading through the heart of the Wuyi scenic area between red danxia cliffs, tea terraces, streams, and small temples. As its lyrical name suggests, it is designed for slow, contemplative walking rather than reaching a single destination, and it offers some of the most pleasant and varied scenery in the Wuyi range at a gentle pace.
The trail takes its name from two of the signature elements of the Wuyi landscape. The rock-bone refers to the exposed red sandstone that forms the bones of the Wuyi peaks, the mineral-rich danxia substrate that also gives Wuyi rock tea its distinctive flavor. The flower-fragrance refers to the blossoms of the tea bushes and wildflowers that scent the air along the path, particularly in spring and early summer when the tea terraces are in bloom and the surrounding forest is alive with flowers. The name, in other words, is a poetic summary of what the walk delivers.
The route is rich and varied, crossing small stone bridges over clear streams, passing hidden waterfalls, threading between sheer rock walls, and winding through lush tea gardens shaded by broadleaf trees. Small temples and pavilions along the way offer places to rest, drink tea, and take in the surroundings, and the path is wide and well-marked throughout. The air is fresh and cool, even on warm days, thanks to the shade and the running water, and the walking is gentle enough for almost all ages and fitness levels.
For most visitors, the Slow Trail works best as a relaxed half-day stroll, paired with one of the bigger sights of the scenic area such as Tianyou Peak or the Nine-Bend Stream raft trip. It is particularly suited to travelers who enjoy walking, photography, and tea culture, since it passes through some of the most photogenic and characteristic landscapes of Mount Wuyi without the effort required for the major summit climbs. For anyone wanting a quieter, more immersive experience of the Wuyi range, this trail is one of the most satisfying ways to spend a morning in the World Heritage landscape.
