The Twin Pagoda Park is a large urban park in the southern part of Taiyuan, designed around the celebrated Twin Pagoda of Yongzuo Temple that give the park its name. The park was laid out to frame the two Ming-era pagodas as its central visual anchor, with open lawns, ornamental lakes, and winding paths designed to create sightlines toward the pagodas from multiple angles. Walking through the park, visitors pass terraced flower beds, rock gardens, traditional pavilions, and stone bridges over small lakes, with the silhouette of the twin pagodas rising above the trees in nearly every view.
