Giới thiệu về Khu danh lam thắng cảnh Cảng đầu con đường tơ lụa trên biển

The Maritime Silk Road Initial Port Scenic Area, sometimes abbreviated as Haisi Shougang, is a large national-level cultural and resort park on the coast west of central Beihai, themed around the city's historic role as the founding port of the ancient Maritime Silk Road. Combining cultural exhibitions, large-scale open-air performance, coastal leisure, and ecological sightseeing, it has quickly become one of the most ambitious attractions in the Beihai region, and a stack of provincial and national awards for its nighttime economy and live performances has cemented its status as a flagship site.

The historical premise is significant. Beihai's Hepu district, close to the modern park, is widely identified by historians as the starting port of China's earliest maritime trade routes to Southeast Asia, South Asia, and the Roman world, a network predating the overland Silk Road of popular imagination. The park uses this heritage as the anchor for an integrated experience that combines indoor exhibitions, reconstructed historic streets, themed architecture, and live performance to immerse visitors in the world of early long-distance sea trade, when Chinese silks and other goods left these harbors for ports half a world away.

Large-scale live performance is the headline draw. Open-air productions staged through the day and into the evening use the historic port setting, water effects, lighting, and dozens of performers to dramatize episodes from the long history of Beihai's maritime trade. The nighttime shows are the most elaborate, drawing on the design language of contemporary Chinese immersive theater to create an atmospheric evening experience, and the wider park takes on a festival-like feel after dark, with lantern-lit streets, food stalls, and themed districts busy well into the night.

Beyond the performances, the park offers the usual mix of a modern Chinese scenic resort: themed dining, cultural exhibitions, craft workshops, retail lanes, and landscaped coastal walking areas. The site is also recognized for its pleasant climate and has been singled out as one of Guangxi's most photogenic spots, a reminder of how closely the experience is tied to its seaside setting. For school and family groups, the park functions as an educational resource as well as a tourist attraction, and daytime hours tend to be busier with research trips and organized visits.

Plan for at least half a day here, or for a full day into evening if you want to experience both the daytime exhibitions and the nighttime performances. Tickets, schedules, and packages vary, so checking the current lineup in advance is worthwhile, especially in peak season. The park is best paired with other coastal attractions west of the city, and for international visitors interested in the early history of China's sea trade, it offers an unusually focused and well-produced introduction to a story that is often overlooked on standard Chinese itineraries.
