Chateau Yuanshi, located in the eastern Helan Mountain wine region outside Yinchuan, is one of the most architecturally distinctive boutique wineries in Ningxia. A visit typically includes a walk through the vineyard and garden, a tour of the barrel cellar, and a guided tasting of several estate wines.

For international visitors, Chateau Yuanshi is best appreciated as part of a day trip through the Helan Mountain East Foothill wine region, paired with other nearby estates such as Chateau Longyu. The combination of serious winemaking, distinctive architecture, and the chance to taste Chinese wine at a moment when the category is gaining global recognition makes for a memorable experience.
