량장샤오두 소개

The Two Rivers Ferry (Liangjiang Xiaodu) is a short, scenic crossing at the very heart of Chongqing, where the Yangtze and Jialing rivers meet beside the downtown peninsula. It is the kind of low-key, everyday experience that distills the city's relationship with its rivers into a fifteen-minute ride — the same waters that birthed Chongqing as a treaty port and river-trade hub still shape its skyline, its nightlife, and its identity as China's most vertical metropolis.

The ferry shuttles between piers near the Yuzhong peninsula and the Nan'an district, carrying locals, commuters, and camera-toting visitors. From the open deck, passengers get an unobstructed view of the dense "steel forest" of high-rise towers rising straight out of the riverbanks, the contrasting colors of the two great rivers mingling where they meet, and the dramatic topography that makes Chongqing so unmistakable from the water.

What makes the ride worthwhile is precisely its modesty. Unlike the elaborate nighttime cruise boats that ply the same waters with full dinner service and light shows, the Two Rivers Ferry offers a quiet, inexpensive, and authentic slice of urban life — fishermen along the bank, ferries gliding past each other, and the layered city glowing gold and blue in the late sun. For budget travelers, it is arguably the best-value viewpoint in Chongqing.

The ferry works well as a connector between neighborhoods such as Hongyadong, the Liberation Monument district, and the Nan'an riverfront. Piers and schedules shift occasionally, so checking current departure points before heading out is wise. Early evening is the most popular time, when the first city lights come on against the fading sky.
