Foci Pharmaceutical
第1次選定Foci Pharmaceutical was founded in Shanghai in 1929 with the founding creed of "scientific extraction, improving the national medicine," opening the era of industrial Chinese-medicine production and inventing the concentrated herbal pill. In 1956, to support the development of the northwest and to draw on Gansu's rich materia medica, the whole plant moved west to Lanzhou and was renamed Lanzhou Foci Pharmaceutical Factory.
Foci is Gansu's first China Time-Honoured Brand in Chinese medicine and listed on the Shenzhen Stock Exchange in 2011; its concentrated pills such as Liuwei Dihuang and Angelica are sold at home and abroad, one of the most representative brands of Long medicine.
Its traditional pharmacy rests on authentic herbs, refining the concentrated-pill craft by which classical decoctions are extracted, concentrated and formed into pills, preserving efficacy while making dosing and carrying easy, carrying on the modern tradition of preparing Chinese medicine by scientific method.
Foci Pharmaceutical is among the first batch of China Time-Honoured Brands recognised by the Ministry of Commerce.
