Fu Shan (1607–1684), styled Qingzhu, was a native of Qingyuan County (now Qingxu), Taiyuan, an eminent physician, calligrapher and patriot of the late Ming–early Qing; his medical works Fü Qingzhu's Gynecology and Men's Medicine remain important clinical references in Chinese medicine, and the Eight-Treasure Broth he devised continues as a celebrated health food today.
