西双版納総仏寺

The Xishuangbanna General Buddhist Temple, known in the Dai language as Wa Ba Jie, sits beside Manting Park in central Jinghong and is the highest-ranking Theravada Buddhist monastery in the prefecture. Outside of active ceremonies, the temple is calm and quiet, and sitting for a few minutes under the banyans, listening to wind in the eaves, is part of the experience.
