Rainbow Village, or Caihong Juan Cun, is a small, brightly painted settlement located in Taichung, central Taiwan. It is distinguished by its vibrant, hand-painted murals covering the exterior walls of its residential buildings. The village consists of a cluster of low-rise houses, originally built as temporary military dependents' dormitories, which have been transformed into a public art installation. The artwork at Rainbow Village extends across walls, doors, windows, and even the ground, creating an immersive environment of folk art.
