Zhi Wei Guan

Zhi Wei Guan opened in 1913 as a small snack shop by West Lake. Its name—roughly "to know our taste, watch our ingredients"—became a pledge of quality that grew into a leading Hangzhou snack brand.

Famous for seasonal sweets and savory bites, it is where locals buy rice cakes, wontons and steamed buns at festivals—woven into Hangzhou's everyday food memory.

Hand-shaped specialties such as cat's-ear noodles, pian'er chuan noodles and dingsheng cakes preserve seasonal ingredients and traditional Hangzhou snack-making methods.

A Zhejiang time-honored brand, still operating at multiple locations in Hangzhou.
