Parque de nieve Sunac de Chengdu

Chengdu Snow Miracle is a large indoor ski and snow park within the Sunac tourism complex in the wider Dujiangyan area, offering year-round snow sports in a region where natural snow is rare. Like the other venues in the Sunac complex, it carries the Chengdu name but is reached as a day trip from both Chengdu and Dujiangyan city, and it has become one of the most distinctive modern attractions in the wider Dujiangyan region.

The venue is built around a large refrigerated indoor slope, kept covered in real snow through the year, with runs and learning areas designed for visitors at a range of skill levels. Equipment rental, clothing rental, and instruction are typically offered on site, which means that even travelers with no prior ski experience, and without their own gear, can take part in a session. The slope layout generally includes beginner areas with gentler gradients alongside more advanced sections for practiced skiers and snowboarders, and the controlled environment makes it a particularly useful place to learn out of season.

Because the snow is maintained indoors, the park operates throughout the year, and it is especially popular during the hot Sichuan summer, when it offers a dramatic escape from the heat of the Chengdu plain. Weekends, school holidays, and major Chinese public holidays are the busiest periods, with longer wait times for equipment and lifts; weekdays outside the peak season are calmer. The venue is geared mainly toward a domestic audience, and visitors without Chinese should expect to handle bookings and rental largely through apps and on-site signage.

Chengdu Snow Miracle is part of the same Sunac development as the Sunac theme park, water park, and shopping district, and several of these venues are often combined into a single trip. For most foreign visitors to the Dujiangyan area, the Irrigation System, Mount Qingcheng, and the region's panda bases will be the priority, but the snow park is a useful option for families, for active travelers, or for anyone looking for a break from historical sightseeing.
