Sobre Área paisajística del Puente de las Estrellas
Tianxing Bridge Scenic Area lies downstream from the main cascade of Huangguoshu Waterfall and forms one of the three core sections of the greater Huangguoshu scenic cluster. Where the main falls are known for sheer scale and thunderous power, Tianxing Bridge is prized for a more intricate, delicate beauty built from the interplay of stone, trees, and water across a landscape shaped by ancient waterways.
The scenic area is generally divided into three parts: a bonsai-like rock garden section known for miniature, sculptural stone formations; a cave system that winds beneath the surface; and a distinctive stretch of "stone forest on water," where limestone pillars and outcrops rise directly out of shallow streams and pools. Walking paths and stepping stones lead visitors across the water itself in places, weaving between rock formations draped with vegetation.
The route through Tianxing Bridge rewards a slower pace than a quick photo stop, since much of its appeal comes from noticing the small-scale detail in the rock formations and the way water threads through the stone forest rather than any single dramatic viewpoint. It typically takes a few hours to walk through at a comfortable pace, making it a natural half-day complement to a visit to the main Huangguoshu falls.
Together with the main waterfall and Dragon Palace, Tianxing Bridge rounds out the classic trio of sights that make Huangguoshu one of China's premier natural attractions, and it's a worthwhile stop for any visitor to Anshun who wants to see the fuller range of the region's karst scenery beyond the waterfall itself.
