The Jiaozhou Yangge Heritage Base is in the Jiaozhou district of Qingdao, a venue established to protect and pass on the national-level intangible cultural heritage of Jiaozhou Yangge. The base supports the rehearsal, teaching, study and display of the dance, serving as an important anchor for the living transmission of this Jiaodong folk song-and-dance and showcasing the distinctive charm of its 'three bends, nine motions, eighteen postures'.

Visiting: Here visitors can watch rehearsals and performances of Jiaozhou Yangge, learn about its history, movement principles, costumes and props, and feel up close the supple rhythm and rich rural spirit of this national-level intangible heritage—a fine place to experience the folk-dance culture of Jiaozhou.
