Only Emeishan is a large-scale immersive theater production and the flagship cultural-tourism project of Leshan, created and directed by the influential Chinese stage director Wang Chaoge. It belongs to her Only series of site-specific performances, which followed the well-known Impression and See again families of shows that reshaped Chinese tourist entertainment by turning landscapes and cityscapes into the setting for ambitious live theater.

The production is built as a drama phantasmagoria, a term that signals its ambition to dissolve the boundary between audience and stage. Rather than watching a single narrative from fixed seats, visitors move through a sequence of theatrical spaces in which scenes from the life and memory of Mount Emei unfold around them. The work draws on the mountain's long religious, cultural, and human history, weaving together Buddhist imagery, local folk life, and the experience of the generations of pilgrims and residents who have shaped the Emei region.

The setting itself is a purpose-built complex that extends the immersive vocabulary of Wang's earlier productions.
