Penglaichun

Penglaichun was established in 1950 in Zhifu District of Yantai, a local restaurant that grew up after the founding of the People's Republic, known for Jiaodong-style Shandong dishes and traditional dim sum.

Recognised as a "Shandong Time-honoured Brand" in September 2017, Penglaichun is a familiar banquet and family-dining spot among Yantai residents, carrying the taste memories of several generations.

Its kitchen follows the stir-frying, quick-frying, braising and pan-basting techniques of Jiaodong Shandong cooking, skilful with local seafood and the Fushan hand-pulled noodle craft, with dishes built on a clear savoury base and precise heat that show the depth of the Fushan "hometown of chefs" tradition.
