Gulong

Gulong's lineage reaches back to a cannery established on Gulangyu in 1907. Over several generations it grew into one of Xiamen's signature local food makers, centred on canned goods and seasonings, and in 2024 the Gulong name was named to the third batch of China Time-honored Brands.

Gulong's canned pork-and-mushroom sauce, spiced pork cubes and braised pork have been kitchen staples for generations of Xiamen families—and a taste of home shipped overseas to the Minnan diaspora.

Gulong pairs traditional recipes with modern canning, stressing traceable ingredients to seal everyday Minnan flavours into a form that keeps and travels well.
