In 1662 the Shanxi distiller Meng Zijing founded the Yilongquan distillery outside Shengjing's Xiaodongmen gate; sited at the eastern 'dragon's mouth' of the city, it became known as Laolongkou and has fired its stills for over three centuries.

유명해진 이유

Laolongkou liquor is a protected Chinese geographical-indication product and its grounds are a National Industrial Heritage site; its cellar cluster, dubbed the 'First Cellar of Guandong,' is a living witness to northeastern baijiu culture.

대표 기술

Its traditional craft spans fifteen steps—pressing the starter at the Dragon Boat Festival, fermenting in old cellars, distilling in retort vats and aging in 'liquor seas'—where pure water and fine grain shape its distinctive character.

문화적 위상

Laolongkou is a China Time-Honored Brand, and its traditional baijiu brewing technique is inscribed on the national intangible cultural heritage list.
