Ruifuxiang
제1차 선정Ruifuxiang was founded in 1893, in the late Qing, and was the foremost of old Beijing's "eight Xiang" silk-and-cloth houses, dealing in silks, furs and fabrics — a landmark of the city's commercial world.
Ruifuxiang was known for honest dealing and fine silks, and the fabric for the first national flag raised at the founding ceremony of the People's Republic in 1949 came from this shop — adding to its historic weight.
Its tradition lies in sourcing and the ethics of trade: a deep selection of silks and furs from across China, an eye for texture and pattern, careful fitting, and fair dealing with every customer — the merchant culture of old Beijing's textile trade.
A renowned China Time-Honored Brand, Ruifuxiang still trades in silks and tailored garments, and remains an emblematic name in Beijing's commercial history.
