Ningbo gold-and-silver embroidery is a traditional embroidery art built around gold and silver thread, long used to decorate garments, opera costumes and festive objects.
예술 형식
Its core techniques are "coiling gold (silver)" and "filling gold (silver)," in which metallic threads are coiled and laid into dragon, phoenix and floral motifs and set off with colored thread for a brilliant, opulent effect.
문화적 의의
In 2011 Ningbo gold-and-silver embroidery entered the third batch of national ICH, representing the embroidery strand of the city's "three golds and an inlay" crafts.

Its pieces are displayed and handed down mainly at Ningbo's ICH institutions and museums.
