Amalong Fantasy Land (Amalong Huanxiang Leyuan) is a 4A-rated amusement park in the western suburbs of Urumqi, Xinjiang, and one of the largest purpose-built theme parks in the region. Opened as part of a wider development of recreational infrastructure in the city, it offers a modern Chinese theme-park experience, with thrill rides, family attractions, themed zones, and live entertainment, oriented primarily at the domestic family market.

The park is organized into several thematic areas, each with its own visual identity and ride mix. Roller coasters and tower rides anchor the thrill zone, while slower boat and carousel rides, a children's playground, and an indoor interactive area serve younger visitors. Live shows, including stage performances and character parades, are scheduled through the day, and a central food and retail street links the principal zones. The ride inventory and operational standards are broadly comparable with other mid-sized Chinese theme parks, and the park has been designed to absorb large holiday crowds.

For international travelers, the principal interest of Amalong Fantasy Land is as a contemporary contrast to the heritage and landscape sites that dominate a typical Urumqi itinerary. It is not a Silk Road destination, and it does not pretend to be; instead, it reflects the degree to which Urumqi has developed as a modern regional capital with the full range of urban leisure infrastructure familiar from other major Chinese cities. Visitors traveling with children often find it a useful break from the more demanding schedule of museums, bazaars, and long drives to field sites.

The park is at its busiest during the Chinese school holidays and on summer weekends, when wait times for the principal rides can be long. Visiting on a weekday outside the peak holiday periods gives a noticeably calmer experience. A full day should be planned for a complete circuit including the principal shows and rides, and a half-day is sufficient for a selective visit focused on the headline attractions.
