The Greater Bay Area No. 1 is Shenzhen's first high-end integrated sightseeing cruise vessel, operating from the Shekou Cruise Homeport at the southwestern tip of the Nanshan peninsula. Launched in 2020, the ship introduced a new category of tourist product to Shenzhen: a multi-deck cruise experience designed specifically for sightseeing across the Pearl River estuary, rather than a commuter ferry between ports.

The vessel is equipped with a hybrid diesel-electric propulsion system, in line with the broader sustainability commitments of its operator and the wider Greater Bay Area maritime strategy. Onboard facilities are arranged across several decks and include a panoramic viewing area, a small exhibition space covering the ecology and history of the bay, an atrium lounge, a technology-themed retail corner, and a small theatre space used for presentations and live programming.

The principal itinerary operated by the Greater Bay Area No. 1 is the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macao Bridge route, which runs out through the Lingdingyang channel to the fifty-five-kilometre sea bridge that links the three sides of the Greater Bay Area. The bridge itself is one of the most ambitious pieces of marine infrastructure in the world, and the cruise offers a distinctive water-level perspective on its scale and engineering. A secondary Shenzhen Bay route traces the southern Shenzhen coastline and offers views across to the New Territories of Hong Kong.

Onboard commentary covers the geography, economy, and recent development history of the Greater Bay Area, the cross-boundary infrastructure projects, and the ecological designations that protect the surrounding waters. Evening cruises add night-time views of the illuminated skylines of Shenzhen and Hong Kong.
