샤오중뎬 화해 소개

Xiaozhongdian is a small high-altitude township on the road between Lijiang and Shangri-La, sitting on a cold-temperate plateau at roughly 3,200 meters. Its meadows, known collectively as the Xiaozhongdian Flower Sea, unfold along both sides of the highway for several kilometers and are one of the most accessible floral landscapes in northwest Yunnan.

The bloom comes in two main waves. From late May through mid-June the meadows turn into a mosaic of color as rhododendrons, Lhasa flowers, and the pink and white blossoms of wolfbane mix with dozens of less famous alpine flowers. Then in September and October the same meadows shift to a quite different palette when the wolfbane (langdu) turns fire-red across whole fields, producing one of the most striking autumn displays on the Yunnan plateau.

The flower sea is not a fenced park but a working landscape; yaks and horses belonging to nearby Tibetan families graze across the meadows throughout the summer, and barley is grown on the better-drained fields. Roadside pull-offs provide informal viewpoints, and small Tibetan-run cafes along the highway sell butter tea, yak yogurt, and simple noodles. A short walk from any of these pull-offs takes visitors into the meadow itself, where the scale of the bloom becomes clear.

For independent travelers, Xiaozhongdian is best treated as a scenic stop on the drive between Lijiang and Shangri-La rather than a destination on its own. Photographers come for the spring flower bloom and again for the autumn red of the langdu, while portrait and wedding photographers use the meadows as a backdrop. Warm layers are essential, since even in midsummer the plateau can be cold before sunrise.
