강남송성 역사문화관광구 소개
The Jiangnan Song City historic area is the old river-bend quarter of Ganzhou where the Zhang and Gong rivers meet to form the Gan, a maze of historic lanes lining the old city core in the Zhanggong district. As a 4A-level scenic area, it brings together five protected historic streets and a traditional neighborhood, threaded with city walls, terraces, and old residences that trace the city's long past. For travelers who want to understand Ganzhou as a Song-era frontier city and a crossroads of southern Jiangxi, it is the natural starting point.
The area preserves key landmarks of old Ganzhou, including the historic city walls, Yugu Terrace, and Bajing Terrace, along with former residences of notable figures and several old academies and guild halls. The streets themselves follow the grain of a medieval Chinese city, with lanes running down to the riverside and old masonry houses packing the slopes above the water. Restored and reinvigorated as a cultural quarter, the district now mixes heritage buildings with teahouses, shops, and evening light displays that draw residents and visitors out after dark.
Most visitors spend two to three hours wandering the lanes and walls, and the area is at its most atmospheric in the late afternoon and evening, when the lights come on and the riverside terraces open up views over the confluence. Early mornings are quieter and good for photography, with softer light on the old walls. Because it is a living quarter rather than a single ticketed site, you can enter freely and explore at your own pace, picking out the historic buildings that interest you most.
Set in the heart of Ganzhou, the Song City area pairs easily with the nearby riverside pontoon bridge and the old terraces just uphill, making a satisfying half-day walk through the city's historic core. Whether you come for the architecture, the riverside setting, or the evening atmosphere, it offers the most vivid introduction to Ganzhou and its role as a southern gateway city on the Gan River.
문화유산
The Jiangnan Song City tourism area sits at the confluence of the Zhang, Gong and Gan rivers in Ganzhou's old walled city, Zhanggong District, a national 4A site comprising five historic districts—Yugu Tai, Yaoyaqian, Zao'erxiang, Nanshi Street and Ciguling—together with one traditional-vernacular quarter. It holds the well-preserved Song-era city wall and such protected monuments as Bajing Terrace and Yugu Tai, the former residence of Chiang Ching-kuo, Yangming Academy, the Guangdong Guild Hall and the old pontoon bridge. It is both a compact image of Ganzhou as the "Song city south of the Yangtze" and the core living showcase of the Hakka Culture (Gannan) Eco-Protection Zone, with training bases for Gannan tea-picking opera and Hakka cuisine.
관람 안내: From the Song-era wall one looks down on the meeting of three rivers, and from Bajing Terrace imagines the "eight views" once painted by Su Shi; wandering among the blue-brick stepped gables of Zao'erxiang and Nanshi Street, every footprint is a trace of Song and Ming charm. Snatches of tea-picking opera and the scent of Hakka food meet the visitor at any moment—one old city holding half the history of Ganzhou.
