Xinjihao
3ᵉ listeXinjihao traces back to the Wang family of tea makers from Anxi, Fujian. In 1919, when family elders carried Chinese tea culture to Southeast Asia, they founded the Xinjihao Pu'er tea house under the family's creed of honest trade. The brand is now run by Shenzhen's Bama Tea and focuses on aged Pu'er.
Xinjihao is known for vintage Pu'er and controls old tea-tree resources in prized Yunnan areas such as Lao Banzhang and Bingdao. In 2023 it was the only tea brand from Shenzhen named in the third batch of China Time-Honored Brands.
The house emphasises three pillars: raw leaf, processing and storage. It selects old-tree leaf, follows traditional Pu'er pressing and fermentation, then ages the cakes in controlled storage so the flavour deepens with time, in the Pu'er spirit that the older the tea, the better.
