Lulu almond drink is produced by Chengde Lulu Co., Ltd., whose predecessor was established in 1950. Chengde lies in the Yanshan mountain range rich in quality apricot kernels, and the factory used this resource to develop a plant-protein beverage with apricot kernels as the main ingredient.

Lulu almond drink is widely popular for its distinctive apricot-kernel fragrance and nutritional value, becoming a household-name beverage brand across northern China and Chengde's most famous light-industry product.

Using wild Yanshan apricot kernels as the core ingredient, the drink is made through debittering, grinding, blending and sterilisation processes without artificial flavouring, preserving the natural fragrance and nutritional content of the kernels.
