Jardín de la Exposición Floral de Shenyang

The Shenyang Horticultural Expo Garden — also known as the Shenyang Botanical Garden and locally as Shibo Yuan — is a 5A-level national scenic area in the eastern Qipan Mountain tourist belt, roughly ten kilometres from central Shenyang. It occupies the 2.46-square-kilometre site of the 2006 Shenyang International Horticultural Exposition and is often described as the "Expo Garden in the Forest" for the way its exhibition areas are threaded through existing mature woodland.

As a 5A destination — the highest rating in China's scenic-area classification system — the park is held to the national standard for visitor infrastructure, environmental management, and service quality. It is one of the few attractions in northeast China to have earned the designation, and it is regularly cited in national tourism publications as a flagship scenic area for the region.

The garden is organised around multiple themed display zones: international gardens representing the horticultural traditions of different countries, Chinese regional gardens showcasing the landscape styles of the provinces, ecological wetlands, rare-plant collections, and large glasshouse displays. The expo heritage is visible in the landmark Lily Tower and in the broad boulevards that link the former national pavilions.

Seasonal flower festivals are the park's signature events: tulips in spring, lilac and peonies in early summer, lotus in midsummer, and chrysanthemum and maple colour in autumn. Each season transforms the dominant colour of the gardens, and the management runs dedicated festival programming with night-time illuminations during the peak blooming windows.
