Guanshengyuan (Kunming)

The Guanshengyuan name originated in Shanghai; around 1939 a Kunming branch was set up and localized, blending Cantonese pastry technique with Yunnan ingredients to grow into the distinctly local Kunming Guanshengyuan.

Its 'Plum Blossom' Yunnan ham mooncakes and flower cakes are widely loved; the brand earned first-batch Time-Honored status in 2006 and passed re-certification in 2023.

Specializing in Yunnan-style confections, it makes savory ham mooncakes and fragrant rose flower cakes using traditional recipes and flaky-pastry craft.
