Drifting down the Nine-Bend Stream on a bamboo raft is the signature experience of Mount Wuyi in Fujian province, and for many visitors it is the single most memorable thing to do in the UNESCO World Heritage Site. Because the bamboo raft trip is the most popular activity in Wuyishan, it draws heavy demand, especially during weekends, public holidays, and the peak travel seasons, and raft capacity is limited. Tickets often sell out well in advance, so it is worth booking ahead and arriving early for your time slot.
